Nehru Memorial College of Education, Abinimangalam celebrated Teacher's day with much enthusiasm and gratitude. President Er.Pon.Balasubramanian presided over the function. In his presidential address, NMCEd president said "Student Teachers should strive to make the nation proud by infusing innovative ideas regularly. There should be everyday efforts to learn, unlearn and relearn. Only good teachers can strengthen a nation"
Dr.T.Jayaprakasam, Principal of NMC in his felicitation address said "I commend the remarkable growth of NMCEd. I see happy changes among the students. You must be congratulated for singing Tamil Thai Vazhalthu and national anthem passionately. Discipline, dedication and determination are visibly seen here"
Dr.A.Prabaharan, Dean of NMC in his felicitation address said "Tradition of a society is the password for the Wi-Fi of the future. If we follow our tradition then there is an assured level of growth ans stability. Student Teachers must inculcate the best of our tradition and leave the negative aspects like caste"
Gurus.R.Kannadhasan, Janci Rani, Parameswari and Malathi also offered felicitation.
The event was hosted by Prabhu Shankar, Mani Ratinam and Sunil.
Kokilla welcomed the gathering. B.Saranya, Poovizhi and Ramadevi spoke the teacher's day and Priyadarshini proposed a vote of thanks.
