. Principal Dr.T.Jayaprakasam welcomed the gathering. Rs.1.5 lakh cash awards were given to those faculty members who published research papers and prizes were given to those won quiz, poetry recitation, dumb charade events organised on the occasion of Teacher's Day. Dr.S.Kumararaman, Head of the Department of Physics and Dr.P.Neelanarayanan congratulated the winners. Dean Dr.A.Prabaharan proposed a vote of thanks.
