INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY AWARDS 2016
Ponsiva Research and Innovation Trust in collaboration with the Innovation Incubator (i2) of Nehru Memorial College organised International Women's Day. NMC president Er.Pon.Balasubramanian presided over the function. Principal i/c Dr.S.Kumararaman welcomed the gathering. Dean Dr.A.Prabaharan introduced the awardees and the event.
Dr.M.Premalatha, Associate Professor of NIT-T and Dr.P.Sasipriya Govindaraj, M.D of Harshamitra Super Speciality Cancer Hospitals were presented the International Women's Day Awards 2016.
Dr.M.Premalatha is an accomplished researcher in the field of renewable energy, energy audit and environmentally safe structures.
Dr.Sasipriya Govindaraj has been selflessly serving the community through her effective cancer treatments.
In the end, Asst.Prof.Vanitha, Head of the Mathematics department, NMC proposed a vote of thanks.
