NMC (Self-Finance) celebrated college day on 12 March with awards, annual reports, dance and music. heads of the department presented their annual reports. Principal Dr.T.Jayaprakasam welcomed the gathering, President. Er.Pon.Balasubramanian felicitated the faculty,staff and students for the wonderful performance throughout the year.
In his presidential address, Er.Pon.Balasubramanian said "I am happy that there is a remarkable improvement in the college activities. Be it academics or extra-curricular activities, the involvement of staff and students are praiseworthy. We need to keep on improving the quality of our education and personalities. Without making ourself relevant to the world it is difficult to survive. We need to fulfill the mandate given by the society.
20 students were awarded Golden Tex Scholarships for the performance in academics and extra-curricular activities.
A colourful cultural presentation by the students was anchored.
