Nehru Memorial College Day (Aided)

The Nehru Memorial College day (aided) was organised recently. Dr.R.Christodoss Gandhi, Former Additional Chief Secretary of Tamil Nadu was the Chief Guest. Dr.Quidisia Gandhi, Former Chief Secretary rank was the guest of honour. President Er.Pon.Balasubramanian and Secretary Pon.Ravichandran felicitated. Principal Dr.A.R.PonPeriasamy presented the annual report and Vice-Principal Dr.S.Kumararaman welcomed the gathering. Deans, HoDs, members of faculty, non-teaching staff and students participated. Dr.M.Muralidharan, HoD, Computer Science proposed vote of thanks. Students anchored a colourful cultural event.

Dean Dr.A.Prabaharan in his introductory speech said "Dr.Christodoss Gandhi and Dr.Quidisia Gandhi are the best examples for religious harmony. Not only their hearts merged but also their religions. They are living examples for our constitutional dreams and aspirations to create a secular society. The contributions of civil services couples for the development of Tamil Nadu are immense. From scholarships to SC/ST students to creating Samathuvapuram to sports development, Gandhis hands are everywhere"


 











College Day (Self -Finance Section)

The Self-Finance section of the Nehru Memorial College day was organised. President Er.Balasubramanian, Principal Dr.A.R.PonPeriasamy, Vice Principal Dr.S.Kumararaman, Dean Dr.A.Prabaharan, Co-ordinator, memebers of faculty and students participated. Thiru.Radhakrishnan Rajagopalan, Timesberry Consultant was the chief guest. As an alumnus of NMC, he shared his love and affection of his alma mater.

Dean Dr.A.Prabaharan in his address said, "Students must take care of their present and future life without diverting their attention into unwanted things. India's competitive nations are hell-bent to spoil the youth power which will decide the future of India"

Farewell'2019 Department of Physical Education

The Department of Physical Education organised a farewell party to the outgoing students. President Er.Pon.Balasubrmanian, Principal Dr.A.R.Ponperiasamy, Dean Dr.A.Prabaharan, Physical Directoress Dr.Sahayalatharani, Head of the Commerce Department Dr.M.Mary Anbumathy, Dr.M.Meenakshi Sundaram, Co-ordinator, Asst.P.D.Thiru.T.Senthil Kumar, Powerlifting team coach Thiru.M.Senthil Kumar, faculty and sports stars participated in the farewell.

Dean Dr.A.Prabaharan congratulated the sports persons for keeping their body and mind active. He talked in length about the advantages India is having in the next few years. The majority of youth population can help India move forward in all directions in all fields including sports. He asked the sports persons of NMC to prepare for olympics and bring laurels to the nation.





TALENTIA'2019

The department of Business Administration organised Talentia'2019, an inter-departmental festival. President Er.Pon.Balasubramanian, Secretary Thiru.Pon.Ravichandran, Principal Dr.A.R.PonPeriasamy, Dean Dr.A.Prabaharan, Co-ordinator Dr.M.Meenakshisundaram, Head of the deparment Dr.M.Mary Anbumathy, Asst.Prof.R.Selvakumari, members of faculty congratulated the winners and participants.

Speaking on the occasion Dean Dr.A.Prabaharan exhorted the students to study EEE - Ethics, etiquette and efficiency. Unless these three are adopted it is difficult to survive in the highly unstable global business environment. In the era of unicorns, startups, angel investors, and many other major business revolutions, it is both easy and difficult to start new business ventures. He wanted the students to adopt 3Es.
