The Innovation Incubator of Nehru Memorial College organised a talk on "Aviation Security" by Prabhat Ranjan Mishra, Deputy Commandant, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and the Chief Airport Security officer, Trichy airport. President Pon.Balasubramanian presided and secretary Pon.Ravichandran offered felicitations.Dean A.Prabaharan welcomed the gathering and moderated the discussion.
In his talk, Mishra said "Aviation security is the quintessential factor in the development of a nation. After 9/11, the scenario of aviation secuirity has changed completely. Israelis ask their passengers to come six hours before their deparature. Their aviation security is the best in the world. We need to learn from them. Indian aviation security is changing for a better. With more and more airports and airplanes coming in everyday, there is need to increase the length and depth of our aviation security.
